Secondary School Trip to Italy

This year, most people in secondary went to Italy together! We visited many places like the Vatican church, different stadiums, and more!

It all started at 4am, all of the students put their luggage in the bus and away we went from our parents for the next six days. The trip to Italy was very tiring, because we were in the bus for 12 hours but it was still very enjoyable.

We got to the first hotel at 9pm and ate dinner. All of the students went to sleep quite late the first night. We all went to visit each other’s rooms and my favorite thing about this was that my friends and I met many new people from the school this way.

DAY ONE- On day one we went around San Marino and even visited the San Marino fortress. It was very beautiful! We also got a football ball and played football on the beach together as the sun was setting!

DAY TWO On day two we travelled to Rome and arrived at the second hotel so nothing much happened since all of us were very tired.

DAY THREE- On day three we walked around Rome and we visited different places such as Sant ’Eustachio, Altar of The Fatherland & Imperial forum. On this day we went to a restaurant and most people got pizza and all of them said it was good! One of the tourist attractions that really stood out to me on this day was Trevi fountain.

DAY FOUR- On day four we visited the Vatican. I was pretty excited but I was not expecting to see what I saw when I walked in. It was beautiful! The colors just popped and the pictures were really nice. We also went to Tivoli which is a place with beautiful fountains, paintings and plants.

DAY FIVE- On day five, we arrived in the beautiful city of Verona! We visited the statue of Juliet and saw an awesome stadium. We also went shopping and bought many things.

DAY SIX- Everyone was so upset when this day had to come. We went to a breathtaking aquarium. There were so many different types of fish and we even saw sharks. After this, we travelled back to Belgrade and arrived at 1am.

This was our wonderful trip to Rome. It had its ups and downs, but in the end, everything turned out great!
