FEST

Under the slogan “Without protection” the film festival FEST was held in Belgrade for the 47th time from 22nd February to 3rd March. This year the festival offered a wide range of films that marked the previous production season, many Oscar award winners as well as those that will participate on many significant festivals to come.

Cinema lovers could see the films like "Green book", “The favourite”, "The wife", "If Beale street could talk", "Love SImon", "Boy erased", "Welcome to Marwen", "Stan&Ollie", "Under the silver lake" and many others. Among the guests of the festival there were Ralph Phiennes I Johnny Depp whose daughter is acting in the film “L’homme fidele” (Faithful man). FEST was proud to present 20 films directed by women and those coming from so called small cinematographies and that shows that the author’s quality is the most important criteria for choosing which film will be presented in this festival.

It was hard for the audience to decide which movie to see because there were 125 premieres in even 13 cinemas this year.

FEST was very successful this year and we are looking forward to see how it will look like next year.
