In Students Shoes
After a long and relaxing summer holiday, we are back again. We are aware that you are used to read about students who excel in sports in our interviews, but in this issue we decided to make some changes.
You all have certainly noticed that PRIMA International School experienced some enormous growth this year. Amongst all of our new friends, we are happy to welcome Ana Milosevic, sixteen years old student from Serbia joining year 12, whose impressive art talent immediately attracted a lot of attention and there she is now, giving an interview for this year’s first issue of our magazine.
Ana, everyone is talking about your amazing artistic skills. Would you please tell me – what is your main inspiration?
Ana: My main inspiration is my mum. She has been doing graphic design since she was a teenager and is the most creative person I know.
Do you want to continue with art in the future?
Ana: Yes, I definitely do. Some people think it’s an unstable course to take but it is something I love and therefore want to spend the rest of my life doing it.
Who is your favorite artist?
Ana: I really like surrealism because it mixes creativity with realism and reality. My favorite artist is Salvador Dali.
When did you realize you have a passion for art?
Ana: I’ve always had a love for it, because it was an easy way to express myself and I could show my creativity in many ways.
What is your favorite artistic technique?
Ana: Oil painting.
Do you have support in this?
Ana: Of course I do.My parents are my huge support and as said, my mum is even my main inspiration.
What is your current project?
Ana: Well, AS level art obviously.
Dear Ana, we wish you good luck on your art exam and hope that one day we all shall be proud that we had a privilege to study with a famous artist Ana Milosevic. That’s all folks, stay inspired and develop your talents - ,maybe you are next for our interview!
